Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Bloom Britannia Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. 14253678) with a studio at 14 Bloomsbury Street, London WC1B 3QA. By accessing or using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our site or services. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The terms below set out the relationship between Bloom Britannia and its customers and website visitors, covering ordering, pricing, delivery, cancellations, intellectual property, liability, and the governing law for disputes. We recommend reading these terms carefully before placing an order or engaging our services. Where specific service contracts or quotes are provided for bespoke commissions, the terms in those contractual documents form part of the agreement in addition to these site terms.

Services, Orders and Acceptance

Bloom Britannia provides floral design, retail product sales, subscription services and event installations as described on the website. All orders placed through the website, by email or by telephone are subject to availability and acceptance by Bloom Britannia. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order in writing by email or when the goods are dispatched. Quotations for bespoke services such as weddings or installations are valid for the period specified in the quotation and are conditional on availability of stems, containers and delivery resources. For large-scale commissions we typically require an agreed deposit and a signed confirmation of the scope of work. We reserve the right to refuse orders or to supply a reasonable substitute of similar quality if a specific stem or container is unavailable, in which case we will inform you and offer alternatives or a refund where appropriate.

Pricing, Payment and Invoicing

Prices displayed on the website are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of order acceptance. Payment must be made in full at the time specified in the order confirmation or contract. For online purchases we use secure third-party payment providers to process card transactions; Bloom Britannia does not store full payment card details. For bespoke services and events we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure dates and order stems. Final balances are due on the invoice terms provided in the contract or before delivery/installation as specified. Failure to make payment in a timely manner may result in delayed delivery, withheld installation services, or cancellation of the order. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with applicable laws.

Delivery, Risk and Title

Delivery terms are confirmed at the point of sale and on your order confirmation. For local deliveries within London we provide same-day delivery options where noted and where orders are placed within the required time window. For UK-wide deliveries we offer next-day shipping to eligible postcodes where available, subject to product suitability for transit. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title to the goods passes to you once we have received full payment of the purchase price. We will make reasonable efforts to meet delivery windows, but delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. If flowers are to be installed at a venue, our installation team will coordinate with venue contacts to agree access and timing; additional fees may apply for extended installation times, vehicle access restrictions or late venue access.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

We handle cancellations and refunds on a case-by-case basis. For standard product orders, you may cancel up to the point of dispatch; once dispatched, orders cannot be returned due to the perishable nature of the product, except where goods are damaged or incorrect on arrival. If you receive damaged or incorrect goods, contact us within 24 hours and retain photographic evidence; we will work to resolve promptly by replacement or refund. For bespoke commissions and event work, cancellation policies are set out in the quotation and contract and often include non-refundable deposits to secure dates and stems. Refunds, where permitted, will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable time period. Our liability for refunds does not extend to consequential losses or costs beyond the value of the goods or services in question.

Intellectual Property and Content

The website content, images, photography, designs, illustrations and text are owned or licensed by Bloom Britannia and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission. When customers share images of commissioned work or allow us to photograph an event, we may request permission to use those images for our portfolio and marketing; we will not use identifiable personal data without explicit consent. Flowers are natural products and vase-life can be influenced by conditions beyond our control; we provide care guidance to assist longevity but cannot guarantee specific vase life durations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
